The Morning Watch: 'Incredibles' Edition - In The Recording Booth, Syndrome Was Right & More

The Morning Watch is a recurring feature that highlights a handful of noteworthy videos from around the web. They could be video essays, fanmade productions, featurettes, short films, hilarious sketches, or just anything that has to do with our favorite movies and TV shows.

In this edition, go behind the scenes of the recording booth with the cast members of Incredibles 2. Plus, watch a Q&A with the filmmakers and cast that happened after a special IMAX screening of the movie a couple weeks ago, and check out a video essay that proposes Syndrome might have actually been right in The Incredibles.

First up, check out this awesome behind the scenes footage showing cast members Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, Sophia Bush, Catherine Keener and Bob Odenkirk while they record their line for Incredibles 2. Plus, get a glimpse into the creative process of making the animated sequel with this collection of B-roll footage.

Next up, director Brad Bird and the voice cast from Incredibles 2 partook in a Q&A following a special IMAX screening of the movie. It's a 34-minute session with plenty of good answers from the creative minds behind one of Pixar's finest sequels.

Finally, a little video essay (of sorts) from ScreenCrush tries to convince us that Syndrome, aka Buddy, may not have been all that bad of a villain in The Incredibles. In fact, if it wasn't for Mr. Incredibles penchant for being cocky and working solo, he woudn't have used his genius to create weapons with the aim of making superheroes irrelevant. In fact, he's not too far off from Iron Man, albeit with a bit of a malicious edge to his motivations.
