Watch The Incredible 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Throne Room Lightsaber Battle Right Now
No matter how you felt about Star Wars: The Last Jedi as a whole, you can't deny that it has one of the best lightsaber battles in the entirety of the franchise.
Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) engage in an intense lightsaber battle involving Supreme Leader Snoke's Praetorian guards. We won't say any more than that for fear that the spoiler police are on the hunt for something to complain about today, but suffice it to say that this is a great clip to hold us over until Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives on home video later this month. If you haven't see the movie, don't read any further, because there are major spoilers.

If you want to know more about how this epic scene was created, check out our definitive oral history on the scene.
Unfortunately, this isn't the entire battle. We don't get to see the incredible moment when Kylo Ren turns on Supreme Leader Snoke and cuts him in half with Rey's lightsaber by activating it with the Force. And we don't get to see the slow-motion lead-up to Rey and Kylo Ren starting to kick some serious ass.
Instead, this clip is from later in the fight, when Kylo Ren is taking on multiple Praetorian guards, loses his lightsaber, and Rey helps him out by tossing him her own weapon. The final kill was one of those moments that garnered applause every time I saw the film in theaters.
This scene is visually stunning, especially thanks to that flaming red curtain surrounding the throne room slowly burning away and falling in pieces to the ground throughout the entire fight. Besides that, the choreography also contains some of the best lightsaber fighting across the entire saga. It makes us eager to watch this sequence over and over again when the film is available to bring home.
Here are all the special features we'll get along with the movie:
