Now Alamo Drafthouse is taking their cinematic celebrations outside of the theater with a new line-up of Rolling Roadshow events.

The first Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow 2018 events have been unveiled, and they include special screenings of The Sandlot, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Independence Day, Jaws and more, all in a specially themed setting. Find out more about each of the events below.

Birth.Movies.Death announced the line-up of the Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow 2018 events.

The Sandlot 25th Anniversary on a Sandlot (March 3)

It's hard to believe that it's been 25 years since The Sandlot hit theaters. Though the real anniversary won't be until April 1, Alamo Drafthouse is hosting a special outdoor screening at a real sandlot venue in Austin, Texas. The screening will happen at The Long Time, and there will be apparently be a bunch of extras for fans to enjoy as well. Tickets are available over here.

Iron Man at Stunt Ranch (April 14)

This is part of a new Rolling Roadshow series called Stunt Ranch Cinema that will surround you with big screen explosions. The outdoors screening of the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will feature explosions going off around the audience whenever one happens in the movie.

But beyond that, since this is happening on the Stunt Ranch in Austin, Texas, you'll be able to partake in some stunts yourself, including jumping off high fall platform, ziplining across a lake that's on fire, shooting off paintballs at your friends and a lot more. Tickets for that event are over here.

Sleepaway Camp Weekend (May 11-May 13)

If one night of movies and fun isn't good enough for you, then you might want to venture out to Marble Falls, Texas for an entire weekend of movies and music with all the fun of a real summer camp. There will be bunks, archery, canoeing, dodgeball, rope swings, climbing walls, a pirate ship ropes course, The Blob, s'mores and so much more.

You can get more details on Summer Camp Weekend and tickets right here.

The Dark Knight at Stunt Ranch (May 26)

This year also marks the 10th anniversary of The Dark Knight, one of the best superhero movies ever made. Just like the Iron Man screening earlier in the year, explosions will be going off whenever one happens on screen. Just imagine what that will be like when The Joker blows up that hospital in Gotham City. Plus, there's a bunch of superhero games, activities and cocktails that will be happening as well. Get your tickets right here.

Jaws on the Water (June, July, August)

This isn't the first time the Rolling Roadshow has offered the opportunity to see Jaws while sitting in an inner tube on a lake on a summer evening. But now there are plenty of opportunities for you to take advantage of this great screening happening on Lake Travis in Leander, Texas. Get the full list of dates over the summer right here and make your plans accordingly.

Independence Day at Stunt Ranch (July 4)

Sure, Iron Man and The Dark Knight will be bringing the explosions earlier in the year, but this is something different. Independence Day will be screening at Stunt Ranch on July 4. That means that not only will there be the usual explosions during the movie, but there will be a huge grand finale of a fireworks show. And since the people at Stunt Ranch are experts in explosives, you know it's going to be nuts. Kick the tires and light the fires and get tickets right here.

Apparently this is just the first wave of Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow 2018 events. There will be more announced in the coming months, and the year is just getting started. Hopefully ,there will be more events that happen outside of Texas since that's what made previous iterations of the Rolling Roadshow events so great. Stay tuned.
