'Now You See Me 2' Trailer: Harry Potter Unleashes The Four Horsemen

After making his name as the most famous young wizard in the world, Daniel Radcliffe is employing a very different kind of magic in Now You See Me 2. He plays a young prodigy determined to steal a high-tech MacGuffin with the aid of the Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Dave Franco, with Lizzy Caplan replacing Isla Fisher as "the girl Horseman"). Mark Ruffalo and Morgan Freeman return as well. The first Now You See Me was a sleeper hit in summer 2013, grossing $351 million worldwide on a budget of just $75 million. Those are the kinds of returns that basically guarantee a sequel, even if the narrative doesn't really call for one. And this time they've got the China setting to ensure they can lock in that all-important Chinese box office as well.

The last movie was an enjoyable trifle, silly and likable and unapologetically nonsensical. The sequel looks like more of the same, though the dynamic is slightly different this time around with Caplan stepping in for Fisher and Radcliffe replacing Michael Caine as the Horsemen's wealthy benefactor du jour. (Caine returns as well, but seemingly in a diminished capacity.) Jon M. Chu replaces Louis Leterrier as director.

Now You See Me 2 arrives June 10.
