'Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith' Honest Trailer: The Best Prequel By Default

If you've been revisiting all the Star Wars movies this week in preparation for the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, then you might have decided to sit through the prequels one more time. At the very least, watching Revenge of the Sith isn't quite as trying as watching The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones. But even the best film in the prequel trilogy isn't anything to write home about as indicated in the Revenge of the Sith Honest Trailer that just arrived this week.

If you haven't taken the time to rewatch Revenge of the Sith yet, this skewering might make you reconsider. Despite the fact that it's the best prequel, there is still some of the worst acting in the entire franchise in this movie, and not all of it is from Hayden Christensen. But as the Honest Trailer points out, there are few actors who could work any sort of magic with lines such as "Love can't save you, Padme. Only my new powers can do that." Yeah, that's a real line from the movie.

Anyway, at the very least there are some cool space battles and lightsaber fights, even if the latter gets a little excessive by giving General Grievous four lightsabers. If the trailer is any indicator, I think we'll be back to a reasonable number of lightsabers in The Force Awakens. We'll find out tomorrow night at 7pm when the first showings begin around the country.
