'The Little Prince' Trailer: Go On A Beautiful Adventure With Jeff Bridges [Updated]

Update from Editor Peter Sciretta: Paramount Pictures has finally released the domstic trailer for The Little Prince, you can watch The little Prince trailer embedded after the jump, alongside the previously released international trailer.

We got our first-look at The Little Prince over a year ago. The animated film, based on Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's beloved children's book, has already opened in theaters all over Europe, but since there's not as many fans on this side of the world, it's been a bit of a wait for the movie to make its debut in North America. The book has sold over 140 million copies worldwide, and based on the tone and animation we've seen in these trailers, filmmaker Mark Osborne (Kung Fu Panda) and all involved have stuck to what people responded to in the book.

As Angie noted when we posted the first trailer, you may want to have some tissues handy while watching this gorgeous animation. The footage shows the fears and joys of childhood. It has a real Where the Wild Things Are vibe to it – an accurate depiction of what it can feel like being a kid. There's genuine emotion in the trailer, which according to all the ecstatic reviews for the film, is the case for the movie, too.

The Little Prince has a stellar cast that include Mackenzie Foy (Interstellar) plays The Little Girl, Rachel McAdams (Spotlight) is The Mother, Jeff Bridges (Fearless) is The Aviator, and Riley Osborne voices The Little Prince. The film also stars Marion Cotillard (Macbeth), Benicio Del Toro (Sicario), Paul Giamatti (Love & Mercy), Ricky Gervais (The Invention of Lying), Albert Brooks (Modern Romance), and Bud Cort (Brewster McCloud). If The Little Prince only starred two or three of these names, it would still be a great cast.

The Little Prince opens in theaters March 18th, 2016.
