A big emerging trend in gaming is the concept of an Escape Room, a cooperative game that puts you with a group working together to solve puzzles to escape a carefully designed puzzle of a room before a certain time.Paramount Pictures and Skydance have announced they are teaming with AMX and IMC to launch escape rooms at four theaters in major cities around the United States to promote the upcoming release of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. Seems like a perfect match to me.

FANS CAN PLAY "MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROOM ESCAPE" AT AMC IMAX® THEATRE LOCATIONS IN BOSTON, LOS ANGELES, NEW YORK AND SAN FRANCISCO
HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 2, 2015) – In anticipation of the highly anticipated release of "MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION," Paramount Pictures and Skydance have partnered with IMAX and AMC Theatres to create "Mission: Impossible Room Escape," an immersive experience that allows fans to become IMF agents at select AMC IMAX® theatre locations in Boston, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.
Inside the free "Mission: Impossible Room Escape" game, teams of up to six will be locked in a Mission: Impossible-themed room and given 20 minutes to unlock clues, solve puzzles and find a way to escape.
The "Mission: Impossible Room Escape" is playable at the following AMC IMAX® theatre locations:

Paramount Pictures and Skydance present a Tom Cruise / Bad Robot Production, "MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION." With the IMF disbanded and Ethan (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, the team now faces off against a network of highly skilled special agents, the Syndicate. These highly trained operatives are hellbent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces its most impossible mission yet. Starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris and Alec Baldwin.
The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, with a screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie and story by Christopher McQuarrie and Drew Pearce. Based on the television series created by Bruce Geller.
