Watch: Latest 'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D' Features 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' Events
The film that most directly influences May's Avengers: Age of Ultron is Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In that film, the group known as S.H.I.E.L.D. falls when its revealed that they've long been infiltrated by the evil group, Hydra. At the end of that movie, S.H.I.E.L.D is almost totally gone and in the new movie, it's The Avengers who are protecting the world.
Of course, we know S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't totally gone because there's a TV show, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, that's still going on. In the show's first season, we saw how the events of The Winter Soldier directly influenced and changed the show and in Tuesday's episode, One Door Closes, we'll see more of what happened on that day. The show flashs back to "The Day S.H.I.E.L.D Fell" to show what Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki) was doing that day along with Mack (Henry Simmons) and even Agent Robert Gonzales (Edward James Olmos), who kept S.H.I.E.L.D. together after the attacks.

Thanks to Marvel for the clip.
Agents of SHIELD Winter Soldier Tie In Video
It's not a hugely revealing clip or anything. The episode will probably have more, but I doubt you're going to see Captain America fighting in the background or anything like that. Nevertheless, it's nice to see S.H.I.E.L.D still acknowledging the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We all know the Inhumans stuff is hoping to eventually tease into the future but there are still plenty of questions to be answered about the past.
I think things will get even more interesting once Avengers: Age of Ultron hits and we get to see how the underground S.H.I.E.L.D. of the show deals with whatever cataclysmic events happen in that movie.
Are you still watching S.H.I.E.L.D.? Has it improved as much as everyone says? How much more of the Winter Soldier events will we see on Tuesday's Episode?
