'Spectre' Teaser Poster: Daniel Craig Goes For The Classic Super-Spy Turtleneck Look

Here's the first real Spectre teaser poster, featuring Daniel Craig as James Bond in a real "ready to go" sort of pose. It doesn't give us much to go on, except perhaps to suggest that James Bond is a big fan of Archer. His turtleneck (sorry, tactleneck!) game is definitely solid. Or maybe he's just channeling Roger Moore from Live and Let Die. Check out the poster below, and look out for the trailer debut on March 28.

The official 007 Twitter feed sent this out. Why does Bond look so... digital? Sure, it's just the lighting and a bit of photo retouching, but if you told me this was a rendered image from a new Bond game I would believe it.

Here are a few larger and alternate versions.

While an Archer joke was the first thing that came to mind, this Roger Moore outfit from Live and Let Die also fits as a comparison.

Let Sterling Archer explain the value of the tactical turtleneck.

Spectre opens on November 6. Sam Mendes (Skyfall) returns as director; the cast also features Ralph FiennesNaomie Harris, and Ben Whishaw.

A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
