The Best Movie Screenprint Gifts Of 2014

"Jurassic Park" By Guillaume Morellec

Welcome to the fifth part of /Film's Ultimate 2014 Film Geek Holiday Gift Guide. We hope we can help you find gifts for your pop culture-loving loved ones and friends (or, maybe even yourself).

This guide includes a ton of cool gifts, including a wide range of books, graphic novels, toys, collectibles, music, movies, games, art and other fun gifts, the majority of which were released this year. I've also tried to include a wide range of prices, from small stocking stuffers to blu-ray box sets to huge expensive collectibles for most of us to drool over. Everything included in the guide is something I either recommend, have been recommended by trusted friends, colleagues and readers, or something that just looks damn cool.

Monday we published the first installment which focused on booksTuesday we featured the best graphic novelsWednesday we featured the best toys, collectibles and games, and earlier today we posted the best blu-ray sets. If you missed either installment you can still access them by clicking the links in the the previous sentence. We'll be posting the final installment on Black Friday. Today we bring you a look at some of the coolest Blu-ray sets and art screenprints released this year that your pop culture-loving loved ones and friends might enjoy as a gift this Holiday season.

Note: All prices mentioned are rounded to the nearest dollar and were accurate on the week this feature was published.

Art / Screenprints

Finding art for this Holiday Gift Guide was tough because screenprints are usually released in a limited amount, from hundreds to only dozens of copies, and usually sell out close to their launch. But I was able to find quite a lot of great prints still available, some of which aren't limited.

PULP FICTION print from Laurent DurieuxPulp Fiction by Laurent Durieux from Mondo: The great thing about this print is, unlike most other Mondo releases, everyone will have a chance to buy one. Mondo is releasing the Durieux Pulp print as a timed release meaning, anyone who orders between Black Friday & Cyber Monday can get it. The number of prints will be determined after the same. So if you've always wanted a Mondo poster or just love this awesome Durieux take on Tarantino's classic, here is your chance.ZZ316B99B2Artist Paul Shipper sells a ton of movie prints around $25Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade by Dave PerilloTemple of Doom and The Last Crusade by Dave Perillo $50/each: Unfortunately Dave's Raiders print is sold out.

Hollywood Star Chart: Modern DayHollywood Star Chart: Modern Day $40:

The Modern Day version of our Hollywood Star Chart features constellations named after some of the most culturally significant films to have appeared on the silver screen since 1960 – present day. The stars that make up the clusters are the Hollywood stars that appeared in them. The chart is based on the night sky over New York on June 16th 1960 – the date of the first showing of Hitchcock's 'Psycho' at the DeMille Theater. With its new approach to storytelling, characterization and violence it is seen as a key movie in the start of the post-classical era of Hollywood. The 108 films featured include those chosen for preservation in the US National Film Registry due to their cultural, historical, or aesthetic significance; Academy Award winners; and a few personal favourites. Films include Easy Rider, Bonnie and Clyde, The Exorcist, The Godfather, Chinatown, Star Wars, Pulp Fiction and Avatar. An A-Z key of featured actors lists their Academy Award nomination dates and the position of their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

GUARDIAN ROCKET by WisesnailGUARDIAN ROCKET by Wisesnail $31Firefly's Little Rascals print by Patrick Ballestero $15Firefly's Little Rascals print by Patrick Ballestero $15

While Serenity's crew members didn't really spend their childhoods together, we like to imagine Captain Mal and company would've made for one mischievous bunch. We can just picture the Little Damn Heroes (yep, we went there) having fun, adventuring and stirring up trouble wherever they could find it. Illustrator Patrick Ballesteros has captured that horseplay here, reimagining Serenity's crew as a rag-tag group of rascals in this whimsical art print. The Brownie Coats Art Print depicts the mini-crew sailing off into the black in a makeshift ship dubbed "C-RENITY." From Jayne's beloved "Vera" and signature knit hat to Inara's shuttle, each pint-sized crew member is lovingly portrayed here, along with a few hidden easter eggs for fans to discover. Fly along with this lovable group of rogues.
