Watch A Brief 'Jurassic World' Behind The Scenes Tour

We're still a year out from the release of Jurassic World, but the team behind the film knows there is a good deal of interest in the film already. And so the producers and PR team have been dropping little bits of info here and there. We had a great interview with director Colin Trevorrow, and then the first batch of images went online. Now the latest look at the movie is a short Jurassic World behind the scenes glimpse, via the Today Show.

Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, along with Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins, have hit the Today Show to talk about the movie. In two video clips we see some behind the scenes crowd shots, and Trevorrow has a good line about working with Steven Spielberg.

This second video takes place in what appears to be the Jurassic World gift shop. Don't get excited about the idea of those toys revealing any new dinosaurs, however. That box Chris Pratt tears into is from a line of toys released last year.

Jurassic World, which also features Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan and BD Wong, is set for release on June 12, 2015. Embeds via THR.

We still don't know too much about the film at this point. For instance, this is the bulk of the info we have about Chris Pratt's character:

Chris Pratt's character is doing behavioral research on the raptors. They aren't trained, they can't do tricks. He's just trying to figure out the limits of the relationship between these highly intelligent creatures and human beings. If people don't think there's potential in those ideas, maybe they won't like this movie. But I ask them to give it a chance.

And here's what Trevorrow had to say about the new dinosaurs in the film:

I know the idea of a modified dinosaur put a lot of fans on red alert, and I understand it. But we aren't doing anything here that Crichton didn't suggest in his novels. This animal is not a mutant freak. It doesn't have a snake's head or octopus tentacles. It's a dinosaur, created in the same way the others were, but now the genetics have gone to the next level. For me, it's a natural evolution of the technology introduced in the first film. Maybe it sounds crazy, but most of my favorite movies sound crazy when you describe them in a single sentence.
