No matter how successful Transformers: Age of Extinction is at the box office later this month, the Transformers are here to stay. More details on a brand-new animated series have just been revealed. It will air on The Hub in 2015. The show is officially called Transformers: Robots in Disguise, and will center on Bumblebee who returns to Earth to help fight a new batch of Decipticons.

Variety broke the news of the show. In addition to Bumblebee, Robots In Disguise will introduce two new Autobots, seen above. They are Sideswipe and Fixit. Darren Criss of Glee will voice the former and Mitchell Whitfield of TMNT is Fixit. There's no word who'll be voicing Bumblebee, but other voice cast include House of Cards' Constance Zimmer and Married With Children's Ted McGinley.Variety described the plot and tone of the show as follows:
Show takes place years after "Transformers Prime," when Bumblebee is summoned to save Earth from a new faction of Decepticons and assembles a rogue team of young Autobots that includes a rebel bad boy bot, an elite guard cadet, a bombastic Dinobot and hyperactive Mini-Con to capture their new enemies.
Each new bot is a fully capable action hero but inexperienced in working together in a team, forcing Bumblebee to become both squad leader and coach, Hasbro said.
The show, which was first announced in March, will premiere on The Hub in 2015.
