BatKid Takes Over San Francisco
Last week, we let you know the San Francisco Make-A-Wish was making a young comic book fan's dream come true. They were planning to turn San Francisco into Gotham City, with plans to let him stop crime and so much more. That day is today, and thanks to photos above from the @SFWish Twitter account, you can follow along as Batkid goes on an incredible, heart warming and frankly kick-ass event.
The @SFWish account has a fantastic running account of Batkid (real name Miles, a 5 year old with leukemia) running around town. Head there to check it out and the San Francisco NBC affiliate has a live feed you can watch here.
Here's a brief recap of the day up to lunch time on the West Coast.
