First Footage Of Aaron Paul In 'Need For Speed'
The Fast and Furious franchise is so big at this point that someone else was bound to want in on that action. Car racing movies are nothing new, of course, but what about bundling the general action of the Fast/Furious movies with a recognizable video game property? And so Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) stars in Need for Speed, directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor). The film, which also features Dominic Cooper, Ramon Rodriguez, Rami Malek, Imogen Poots, Dakota Johnson and Scott Mescudi, is shooting now. With Need for Speed video game publisher EA presenting a game lineup today in advance of E3, it's time for a featurette that shows off the production, complete with a bit of footage of Paul at the wheel.
Need for Speed is set for release on March 14.
Framed for a crime he didn't commit, muscle car mechanic and street racer Tobey (Aaron Paul) gets out of prison determined to settle the score with the man responsible for his false conviction. Tobey tears up the road in a gritty cross-country journey— one that begins as a mission for revenge, but proves to be one of redemption.
