'Man Of Steel' Teaser Trailers - Superman Is Back On The Big Screen

Not only does this weekend see the return of Batman to cinemas worldwide, it also sees the return of Superman in the form of two teaser trailers for Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. The highly anticipated reboot, written by David Goyer and produced by Christopher Nolan, stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as Zod, Kevin Costner as Pa Kent, Russell Crowe as Jor El and many more. It opens June 14, 2013 and, after the jump, you can catch see your first look at the film in the form of two teaser trailers, both attached to The Dark Knight Rises.

Here's the Pa Kent version courtesy of Yahoo Movies.

And here's the Jor-El version courtesy of MSN:

Both trailers are identical, Lord of the Rings musical and all, save for the voice overs.

These are certainly a great tease but, from what we saw at Comic-Con, these only scratches the surface. Basically the Comic-Con footage was this, but then it went nuts with action and all the different characters. Romance, epic fights, all the things you'd expect that Snyder isn't willing to show outside Hall H just yet. But he will. And when he does, people are going to start getting very excited.

You can read more about the footage we saw at Comic Con here and even watch a little video reaction here.

What do you think of the trailers? Is this what you expected? Do you get that the film is about a man struggling with his own destiny?
