Mondo's Final Posters Of 2011: 'Dracula' By Martin Ansin, 'Two-Gun Mickey' By Tom Whalen

2011 has been something of a banner year for Mondo. It brought the first work from legendary artists Drew Struzan and Shepard Fairey, the advent and expansion of the Mondo Mystery Movie, inclusion into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, licenses for DC Comics, Studio Ghibli, Pixar, Jurassic Park and much more. Now, they've decided to end this incredible year the same way it began – with Dracula.

Martin Ansin continues the Universal Monsters series Friday with his interpretation of the 1931 film Dracula, a film which was previously designed by Vania Zouravliov and Aaron Horkey way back in January but didn't have the vampire himself on the poster. But that's not all. In addition to a variant, there's an even more limited piece that's done on wood, shaped like a coffin. It's insane. Oh, and a new Tom Whalen Disney piece called Two-Gun Mickey will also be released for counter programming. Check them all out after the jump.

Here are the two Ansin Dracula's, the wood variant and Whalen's Disney print. All the specifics are below.

The red Dracula regular edition is a 24"x36" screen print. Hand Numbered. Edition of 350. Printed by D&L Screenprinting. $45

The black and white variant is a 24"x36" screen print with metallic inks. Hand Numbered. Edition of 100. Printed by D&L Screenprinting. $85

And the wood coffin is an approximately 21"x 36" screen print on wood. Hand Numbered. Edition of 75. Printed by D&L Screenprinting. $135

As for the Tom Whalen, it's an18"x24" screen print. Hand Numbered. Edition of 370. Printed by D&L Screenprinting. $45

They'll all go on sale Friday December 30 at a random time. Follow @MondoNews for the info.

Many people are going to be disappointed that Mondo didn't close out the year the way they have the last four, with Tyler Stout, but this Ansin print is a beautiful, poetic bookmark to a landmark year for the company that will surely only get bigger in 2012.

Are you going to buy one of these posters? What are you hoping for from Mondo in 2012?
