Exclusive Scene Deconstruction: Sam Worthington Becomes An 'Avatar'
When James Cameron's Avatar was released in theaters, I was surprised at just how little behind the scenes footage was released. One of the few clips released, you've probably seen, showed Zoë Saldana performing an emotional scene in her performance capture suit/rig, side by side with the fully rendered footage of Neytiri that appears in the film. There is definitely more of this kind of footage included in the upcoming Extended Collector's edition Blu-ray release, which hits stores on November 16th 2010.
Fox Home Video has provided us with an exclusive clip from the upcoming release, which gives us a look at when Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) first becomes a Na'vi, using the same side-by-side scene deconstruction. Hit the jump to watch it now.
