New Photo: Thor And His Hammer
Marvel Studios has released yet-another photo from the big screen adaptation of Thor, this time in Wednesday's edition of USA Today. The new image shows Thor's alter ego, a wet and grungy Donald Blake (Chris Hemsworth), pulling his mighty hammer Mjolner out from a pile of rock.
For those of you who don't know, my momentary comic consultant Harry Hopkinson explains that after the hammer fell to Earth from the heavens, no one was able to move it. They build a base around it, and in the still, Blake is trying to pick up the hammer but Mjolner doesn't yet deem him worthy. Hit the jump to see the full photo.
There have been a bunch of Thor photos posted over the past week. If you missed any of them, click here.
The Official Plot Synopsis:

Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love.
