New Photo: Lindsay Lohan In Machete

We've seen no shortage of images from Machete, but the one member of the sprawling cast that has been noticably absent is Lindsay Lohan. The actress was one of the surprises in the cast list when initially revealed, and the her absence from the trailer was a talking point thanks to Lohan's legal adventures, which were (un)fortunately timed with the trailer's release.

But now there's a photo of Lohan in costume and it's looks just about how I always imagined the Blues Brothers' fantasies about their old headmistress might look. If they had such things. Which, of course, being degenerates, they did. Check it in full after the break.

To reiterate some basic details, Robert Rodriguez wrote the Machete script and co-directed the movie with his longtime editor Ethan Maniquis. The action/exploitation film follows Danny Trejo as a badass Mexican out to mess with The Man. "An ex-Federale with a gift for wielding a blade, who hides out as a day laborer, who is double-crossed by a corrupt state senator." Robert De Niro, Steven Seagal, Don Johnson, Jessica Alba, Cheech Marin, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan, and Jeff Fahey co-star.

20th Century Fox is releasing the film on September 3rd 2010, aka Labor Day Weekend.
