Website Spotlight: Movie Titles Stills Collection

Web designer Christian Annyas has created a website, Movie Titles Stills Collection, focusing on the art of movie titles in feature films.

Annyas explains why he started the website:

I've seen a lot of movies over the years, and to prove I've sat through at least the first ten minutes of them I started making screenshots of the titles. Then my computer crashed and I almost lost them all. To save them for future generations I created this little website

I use to collect my ticket stubs for every movie I went to see in theaters (a practice that went by the wayside after I began attending press screenings, which for the most part, were stubless), and I love the idea of keeping a piece of each and every film you see in theaters or on television. So I certainly respect Annyas' efforts. The site isn't as comprehensive as I would like it, but it does feature a good variety of titles from 1920 to 2010. It's definitely worth checking out. Thanks to JoBlo for pointing me towards this site.
