The Darjeeling Limited To Include Wes Anderson Short Film
"Every movie I make is about someone who can't fit in, can't make things work or is dealing with failure," Anderson tells The Guardian.
Wes Anderson's (Rushmore, The Life Aquatic, The Royal Tenenbaums) latest film The Darjeeling Limited will be accompanied by a 12-minute short called Hotel Chevalier, which apparently acts as a prequel to the main feature. Has that ever been done before? I wonder if the movie (or short) can be watched stand-alone, or if the two stories require each other. And if that is the case, is the short film really a short film at all? I'm looking forward to this one.
