Sundance: Expired Movie Review

"Mom, what do you think is better? Something or Nothing when you don't have everything?"

Clare is one of the most hated people in the world, but not really by choice. She is a meter maid. Her job requires her to write tickets for expired parking meters. It's not that she wants to, it's just a job to pay the bills. Claire is good spirited, quiet and uncomfortably awkward (think Chloe from 24). When another traffic officer named Jay starts showing her attention, a troubled and quirky relationship is born. But Jay is the complete opposite of Claire, a typical ticket-happy a**hole cop on a power trip.

Cecilia Miniucchi's unique and subtle humor give the opposites attract relationship genre a fresh new spin.
