WALL-E Lots Of Bots Featurette

Disney has released a new featurette for WALL-E called "Lots of Bots" which takes a look at the featured robots in the upcoming Pixar movie. And whats not shown in the video above is that up to 50 animators at the peak of production were working on the colorful cast. For the non main characters, Pixar created a Build-a-bot program which allowed allowed the animators to create hundreds of variations or robots using a modular robot system that combined a variety of heads, arms, bodies and feet/treads.
