After being unable to stop the feeling of rhythm in the animated movie Trolls back in 2016, Trolls World Tour finds Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) learn that there are even more tribes of trolls out in the world, each with their own unique musical tastes. Unfortunately, Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom), aided by her father King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne), is trying to collect all six of the Infinity Stones strings of music in order to destroy every kind of music except rock. Trolls World Tour

Trolls came out in 2016, and it’s taken me this long to get Justin Timberlake‘s “Can’t Stop The Feeling” song from the film out of my head. But my relief was short-lived, because DreamWorks Animation just lodged that song back in my brain again by announcing the official title of the second movie in the franchise: Trolls World Tour. Fate of the Furious Fast and Furious Vin Diesel

The next Fast and Furious is going to take its sweet time zooming into theaters.

Universal Pictures is reorganizing its movie slate with a push for 2020, with the Fast and Furious 9 release date getting moved back from 2019 to Easter 2020 while Trolls 2 gets an earlier date from its original spring 2020 release.

‘Trolls 2’ Is Coming in 2020

While this year’s Academy Awards had a bumpy ending, it got off to an entertaining start with Justin Timberlake performing “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” It was a lively introduction for the Oscars. Timberlake obviously knows how to put on a good show. Maybe in a couple of years, he’ll be back at the awards show to perform another song from Trolls 2, which DreamWorks has scheduled for April 10th, 2020.
