See Two Bloody New 'Ash Vs Evil Dead' Photos

The Deadites are coming to Comic Con, and Bruce Campbell's alter-ego Ash will be there to fight them. Promotion for the Ash vs Evil Dead TV series will really kick into gear later this week when the show's first trailer debuts at Comic Con. For now, we have a couple of bloody new Ash vs Evil Dead photos, and some more quotes from Campbell about how he and Sam Raimi have revived the series that made both their careers.

EW has these two new photos:

And Bruce Campbell posted this video, featuring the Delta 88 that has been a part of the series since the beginning.

The actor told EW,

Sam's original Delta is back. I'm talking the '73 Delta 88. The Classic is back! I've driven it. I did a William Shatner power-slide in that car. That's the only spoiler I'm gonna give you: that Ash and that car — we can power-slide. I met William Shatner on the convention circuit, and I talked about T.J. Hooker. He talked to me about how he power-slides those cars in T.J. Hooker. So I took Shatner's advice, and I used that advice to do a T.J. Hooker combo-platter — with the Classic — power-slide.

Ash vs Evil Dead premieres on Starz later this year.

Campbell will be reprising his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its "Evil" grip.

The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, "Burn Notice") in the role of Ash Williams, Lucy Lawless ("Salem," "Spartacus") as Ruby a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks, Ray Santiago ("Touch," Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash's loyal sidekick, Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past and Jill Marie Jones ("Sleepy Hollow") as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner.
