Cool Stuff: Hot Toys Iron Man 3 Mini Busts Deluxe Set

The Hot Toys Iron Man 3 Mini Busts Deluxe Set comes with eight Iron Man 3 Sixth Scale Collectible Busts, including: theMark 42, Iron Patriot, War Machine Mark 2, Mark 17 Heartbreaker, Mark 24 Tank, Mark 30 Blue Steel, Mark 33 Silver Centurion, and the Mark 42 Battle Damaged Version. Each of the busts features battery operated LED-lighted eyes and ark reactors, and circular-shaped bust stand featuring the Iron Man 3 movie logo. The busts each stand about four and a half inches high.
As with all of the Hot toys products, these Iron Man 3 mini busts are highly detailed and well painted. I especially like the cool paint detailing on the Mark 42 Battle Damaged Version. War Machine and Iron Patriot both come with guns which can mounted on their shoulders, faced up or forward.
I bought one of the life-size 1:1 Iron Man busts when the first film was being released, and it remains one of the favorite pieces in my office. But lifesize busts can be expensive and these mini busts allow you to have the next best thing that takes up much less shelf space.
I personally probably don't need eight different mini busts from Iron Man 3, so I'm not sure I can recommend the Hot Toys Iron Man 3 Mini Busts Deluxe Set unless you're a mega fan. I can however recommend acquiring one or two of these Iron Man 3 mini busts, as most of them are available separately through Sideshow Collectibles. Unfortunately, my favorite of the eight, the Mark 42 Battle Damaged Version, is exclusive to the duluxe set (I guess that is one reason to splurge on the collection).
