Geek Deals: Buffy Collectors Set For $70; Star Wars Vault For $25

We may receive a commission on purchases made from links.

Today we have two Geek Deals for you. First up is the 40-disc Buffy The Vampire Slayer Collector's Set for only $69.99 in Amazon's Gold Box Deal of the Day. That's $129.99 (65%) off the $199.98 MSRP. I've never really given Buffy a chance, because I always turned off by the super cheesy special effects. But most everyone I know loves the series, so I might have to just take a chance and buy this.

Star Wars Vault Contents

Next up, Woot.com has an incredible deal on a book that we once called "The Coolest Book of 2007!" — The Star Wars Vault.

The huge hardcover book features a collection of "50 interactive, rare and some never-before-published memorabilia, including reproductions of Lucas's own handwritten script pages, flip-through catalogs, swag, posters, T-shirt transfers, tattoos, stickers, blueprints, production notes, animation cells and much more!" It also includes "2 CDs containing over 2 hours of vintage radio ads, original cast interviews, excerpts from the NPR Star Wars radio drama, the complete Star Tours soundtrack, George Lucas's commentary and other fun stuff."

Click here to see our previous feature on the book. When I got the book for Christmas last year, it was retailing for around $85. Woot.com has the book, while supplies last, a one deal only sale for only $24.99. I can't recommend this book enough. If you're a Star Wars fan, you'll love it.
