As a Trek fan, I'm really looking forward to J.J. Abrams' reboot of the franchise, but only two words come to mind when I look at this poster: "blurry" and "disappointing." For a film that has such a kickass trailer, the final image they used seems pretty weak. However, Joseph Dilworth over at Popculturezoo points out that this poster may be an homage to one of the posters for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Still, even the original image seems far more dynamic and iconic. You decide:
