The Morning Watch: 'Incredibles 2' Easter Eggs, 'Stranger Things' Theme Breakdown & More

The Morning Watch is a recurring feature that highlights a handful of noteworthy videos from around the web. They could be video essays, fanmade productions, featurettes, short films, hilarious sketches, or just anything that has to do with our favorite movies and TV shows.

In this edition, check out a round-up of Incredibles 2 Easter eggs you might have missed. Plus, the composers behind Netflix's series Stranger Things talk about their score for both seasons, and SyFy runs through a bunch of things you might not have known about X2: X-Men United.

First up, this round-up of Easter eggs from Incredibles 2 by Mr. Sunday Movies doesn't feature all of the sneaky references to other Pixar movies that we'll likely find out down the road. But it does point out some connections to the original movie you might have missed, references to non-Pixar movies, TV shows and comic books, and plenty more.

Next up, for Vanity Fair, composers Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein sit down to break down the original music they compose for the hit Netflix series Stranger Things. The duo talks about how they came to be hired by the Duffer Brothers, as well as what the biggest influences are on their music and the differences between what they did for the first and second season.

Finally, a video from SyFy takes a look back at X2: X-Men United to tell you some details about the movie you might not have known. For example, they reuse exterior shots of Professor Xavier's mansion from the first movie to save money, and Neil Patrick Harris was up for the role of Nightcrawler, but missed out on it because he couldn't speak German.
