Mark Hamill is always a joy to follow on Twitter, and in the wake of the divisive (and amazing) The Last Jedi, that hasn't changed. Hamill has been on hand during Star Wars month to tweet a devastating teaser that looks like it's from the new The Last Jedi comic by Gary Whitta and Michael Walsh. The use of #foreshadowing had many fans wondering if his line "See you around kid" was in fact a hint that Luke would indeed see Kylo around again, and will likely be returning in Episode IX, but of course it could just be Mark up to his old tricks again.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is almost here, and Variety reports that there's exciting news for the visual effects supervisor and co-producer Rob Bredow, who's been promoted from CTO of Lucasfilm to lead ILM. The revolutionary visual effects company has gone from strength to strength since its founding in 1975. You may recognize Bredow's name from previous Star Wars Bits as he was integral in launching the ILMxLAB which saw the company take talent from Lucasfilm, Skywalker Ranch, and ILM to "develop, create, and release story-based immersive entertainment." We can't wait to see what Bredow and ILM do next!
Sci-fi and horror have always gone hand in hand, so it wasn't going to be long before someone did a truly scary Star Wars x Monster mashup. Digital 3D artist Lucas Bischoff has reimagined some of the most iconic Star Wars helmets as terrifying monsters, from Darth Vader himself through everyone's favorite clumsy bounty hunter Boba Fett to the regal royal guard. These radical renderings are a delight for anyone who always wanted their Hoth with a bit more horror.
Looks like the OG Lando Calrissian has given Donald Glover's performance the thumbs up as Comic Book Dot Com's Joe Schmidt reported via his Twitter account! Chatting with the iconic Billy Dee Williams at the Solo: A Star Wars Story premiere, Schmidt asked what Williams thought of the film and the star stated that he loved it! We're very happy to know that both generations of Lando are clearly in awe of each other.
Random Fun Fact with Alden Ehrenreich: in 2016 our @Nightline cameras (accidentally) caught him roaming Star Wars Celebration London disguised as a stormtrooper. "Yep, that's my watch," he says. I was looking right at him but had no clue... #SoloAStarWarsStory pic.twitter.com/JjXLRsKVl0

Alden Ehrenreich is currently best known in the world of Star Wars for playing Han Solo, but it looks like he's also partial to a Stormtrooper mask as Clayton Sandell revealed on Twitter. The star of Solo: A Star Wars Story was accidentally spotted on the nightline cameras at 2016 Star Wars Celebration in a very nifty if not a tad dark disguise!
Solo: A Star Wars Story has had its fair share of drama, and in a recent interview io9 spoke to the Kasdans about what the movie might have looked like had Lord and Miller not left and been replaced by Ron Howard. "This movie, like all movies, has evolved with each creative person that has come into it," Jon Kasdan said. "What I think is true is that, beyond the drama, what we ended up with, ultimately, was the riches of these incredibly creative guys, all of their instincts. All of their comedy impulses survive in the movie."
A number of savvy Star Wars fans have noticed that Alden Ehrenreich has worked with some of the most incredible and lauded directors on earth including the Coen Brothers, Sofia Coppola, Chan-wook Park, and Warren Beatty. During a recent interview on the Solo: A Star Wars Story press tour, Marvelous TV asked Ehrenreich about his experience and relationships with these acclaimed directors.
Jody Houser and Luke Ross' Thrawn comic book has been a delight to behold, as the pair have steadily built upon the work of Thrawn creator Timothy Zahn and his iconic Expanded Universe creation. As reported on CBR in the newest issue the team tackle just how Thrawn became Admiral, and unsurprisingly it includes a lot of nefarious behavior from our favourite blue-skinned Chiss.
Since the first glimpse of Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, fans have been clamoring for a Lando film, and Solo: A Star Wars Story writer Jon Kasdan feels the same way. "First of all I'm dying to see a Lando film. I would help in anyway I was asked to. I think that's a great movie. I mean, I think you know one of the things though that's interesting is, I want to see a Lando film very similar way to the way I think Larry was excited by a Han film. Which is in this movie, Lando gets to occupy, the role that Han occupied in the earlier films, which is he doesn't have to carry the burden of being the protagonist," Kasdan told Screen Rant.
As for the future of the now basically confirmed Solo sequels that Alden Ehrenreich accidentally leaked during the Solo press tour, well Ehrenreich has some ideas that he shared with Screen Rant in a recent interview. "Well, I think I just want to see more of his relationships with these characters. I think that would be really a lot of fun. And I think each being its own kind of adventure story and like almost the Indiana Jones mold would be pretty fricking cool."
SPOILER KLAXON! Ever since the first full trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story debuted, Expanded Universe fans have been hoping that the Wookiee we see Chewie sharing a tender moment with was in fact his wife from the EU, Malla. Alas, during an interview with Screen Rant, Jon and Lawrence Kasdan revealed that sadly it's not. "It's not Malla. In fact that is a different character. In fact, we could tell you the name of that character. That was Sagwa. And he was always in the script. There was always a version of that character in the script."
