POTD: 'Transformers: The Last Knight' Had Some Pretty Insane Fireworks For The 4th Of July
Yesterday plenty of United States citizens celebrated Independence Day by lighting off some fireworks, because there's nothing more American than blowing some stuff up after you've had every meat known to mankind. However, I'm willing to bet that your fireworks were nothing compared to the kind of explosions that happened on the set of Transformers: The Last Knight. Thanks to Michael Bay's Instagram, you can get a glimpse of what they were shooting on set yesterday, and there's just as much firepower as you'd expect.
Check out the Transformers The Last Knight set photo after the jump.
Fourth of July people! #transformers

Say what you will about the quality of Michael Bay's movies, the practical effects he pulls off on set are extremely impressive. Those are some serious explosions going off with stunt people and actors not too far away from them. Surely more will be added in post-production as well to spice things up even more.
There's also something to be said about what's happening in this scene. It looks like the FBI and some specially trained units have been in pursuit of someone, and they appear to have gotten them. In the middle of the photo is a man on his knees with his hands near his head, and it appears to be Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yaeger, or at least his stunt double. We're not sure how this will tie into the story details we recently heard about, but we're bound to find out sooner than later.
