The Toy Box: Star Trek, Christmas Vacation, Rocky IV, The Big Lebowski & More

The Toy Box is a weekly feature at /Film that will round up some of the newest and coolest collectibles, decorations, gadgets and other memorabilia that you nerds might want for your shelves.

This week, The Toy Box has a variety of new Star Trek and Star Wars goodies along with new figures celebrating the 40th anniversary of Rocky, some San Diego Comic-Con exclusives for The Simpsons, The Twilight Zone and The Big Lebowski, and a figure that will make a great holiday decoration from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Star Wars - Celebration 2016 Exclusive Funko POP Vinyls

If you're going to be at Star Wars Celebration Europe in July, then you'll be able to get your hands on a batch of exclusive Funko POP Vinyl figures that won't be available anywhere else. The four exclusive figures include Luke Skywalker in Bespin gear with his hand cut off, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo from the medal ceremony at the end of Star Wars: A New Hope and the bounty hunter 4-LOM.

Head to booth #S203 in order to get your hand on these exclusives. Otherwise, stay tuned to eBay to see if you can get them without pay an arm and a leg.

Star Trek Beyond - Anovos Type 1-B Phaser

Continuing their endeavor to make high quality prop replicas, Anovos has made a pre-order available for the Type-1B phaser from this summer's Star Trek Beyond. However, this is actually a kit to build and paint your own phaser, so it's not the best option for Star Trek fans who just want to buy a cool prop replica. But if you're still interested, there are two versions. One is the basic that costs $300 while the other is a servo-powered spinner version for $400 that allows you to flip between stun and kill settings, just like in the movie.

There will also be some other Star Trek Beyond items coming from Anovos very soon, so stay tuned.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows - Sideshow's Rocksteady & Bebop

If you liked the big screen versions of Shredder's goofy henchmen Rocksteady and Bebop, then you might want to throw down some cash for Sideshow Collectibles 16-inch statues of them. Each will cost you $369.99 and will be shipping in either December this year or January of 2017.

The Twilight Zone - Bif Bang Pow Comic-Con Exclusive Action Figures

Adding to their line of The Twilight Zone action figures, Biff Bang Pow have delivered five new figures that will be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con. Unlike most of the figures from the classic anthology TV show, these will be in color instead of the traditional black and white.

The five figures include Marsha White from the episode "The After Hours," Don Carter from "Nick of Time," Jerry and Willie from "The Dummy," Hansen from "A Quality of Mercy," and Alicia from "The Lonely." They will be available for sale exclusively at Comic-Con with any leftovers sold to those who pre-order online.


The Simpsons - Kid Robot's Comic-Con Exclusive Mr. Sparkles Figure

For lucky best wash, use Mr. Sparkle! The Japanese soap mascot who resembles Homer Simpson is getting his own medium figure from Kid Robot. the 7-inch figure has an edition of 500 pieces and will only be available at Comic-Con. The bad news is that this item is already sold out, but if you pay attention to eBay, you might be able to get your hands on one after the convention.


Star Wars - Stormtrooper Helmet Toaster

If you have a kitchen with a lot of white decorations, then this Stormtrooper toaster will fit right in with the rest of your appliances. With two standard slots for cooking toast, Pop-Tarts, bagels or whatever you need to toast, you'll get the food you want toasted along with the Galactic Empire logo cooked into them.

You can pre-order the toaster to be shipped in July for $59.99 from Big Bad Toy Store.

Star Trek - Hot Wheels 1964 Buick Riviera with 1:64 Scale Spock

Mattel has a special 50th anniversary Hot Wheels release for Star Trek: The Original Series coming to San Diego Comic-Con this summer. Inspired by a photo of Leonard Nimoy posing in full Spock wardrobe with his recently purchased 1964 Buick Riviera, Hot Wheels is delivering a collectible version of this car with a tiny version of Spock leaning on it just like in the photo.

You can pre-order the SDCC exclusive over at starting at 9am Pacific time today, but you have to be able to pick it up in person at Comic-Con. Otherwise, you won't be able to buy it at the show, though you may have another chance to buy it at anther time in July.


The Big Lebowski - Bif Bang Pow! Pin Mate Figure Set

If you're a Coen Brothers fan who has been waiting for more merchandise to bring the colorful characters from The Big Lebowski to your shelf, then Entertainment Earth and Bif Bang Pow! have you covered. Available at San Diego Comic-Con, this exclusive set will come with 7 miniature wooden Pin Mate figures for The Dude, Walter, Donny, Jesus, Maude, The Stranger and Bunny.

Any leftovers following the convention will be sold online sometime in August.


Rocky IV - NECA 40th Anniversary Figures

Following their first series of figures in honor of the 40th anniversary of the original Rocky, a second series of figures is coming from NECA, this time bringing the boxers from Rocky IV to shelves. There's a new version of Rocky Balboa with an American flag and alternate head sculpt as well as a patriotic Apollo Creed with an alternate head sculpt of his own. In addition, there will be two versions of the Russian Ivan Drago available as well. The figures should be available in October this year.


Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Doc Marten Boots

If you're a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan and you're in the market for some of the ugliest boots you've ever seen, Doc Marten has you covered. There's a design for each of the heroes in a half-shell with adult sizes costing $150 each. There's also child and toddler versions of the boots available, but that just seems like a waste of money. Star Trek - USAopoly's Star Trek 50th Anniversary Risk

For anyone anxious to settle the argument of who is the best starship captain in the Star Trek universe, then this special version of the classic board game Risk should help out. Risk will allow you to pit Kirk, Picard, Sisko, and Janeway against each other in an intergalactic conflict that will help determine who is the most competent commander.

The game is available at the official Star Trek shop with a retail price of $49.95, but you might be able to find it in local stores or elsewhere online as well.


Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Rey 1:6 Scale Bust

Bringing the scavenger turned hero to your shelf in a collectible, Gentle Giant has a 1:6 scale mini bust of Rey that comes individually numbered with a matching Certificate of Authenticity. Rey has her trusty staff in hand, and if you put her in the sand, it would look like she's buried from the waist up, so that's fun.


National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - Clark Griswold

NECA will give you the hap-hap-happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tapdanced with Danny fuckin' Kaye with this 8-inch retro style figure of Clark W. Griswold from the classic holiday comedy National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. The figure comes with cloth clothing, a Wally World egg nog glass and the model of the pool Clark so desperately needs his bonus to pay for. The figure will be available in October 2016.

The A-Team -  Funko POP Vinyl Figures and Ridez

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, you just might be able to buy the A-Team. The team of problem-solving heroes from the 1980s is getting their own Funko POP Vinyl line featuring Hannibal, Face, Murdock and B.A. Baracus. In addition, there will be a new Funko POP Ride available featuring B.A. Baracus and the signature A-Team van.

Funko says the individual figures will be available in August while the van won't arrive until September.clockworkorange-vinylidolz

A Clockwork Orange: Vinyl Idolz Alex DeLarge

For the more adult collector out there, if Funko's POP Vinyl line doesn't appeal to you, then their Vinyl Idolz line might be more your speed. Their latest addition is Alex DeLarge from Stanley Kubrick's classic A Clockwork Orange. It's kind of a creepy collectible to have on your shelf when it arrives in August, but hopefully your friends know you well enough to know that you're not a murderer.
