Marvel Studios TV And Movie Crossover: Producer Nate Moore Thinks It's Possible

In case you haven't heard, /Film was on the set of Captain America: Civil War, witnessing the beginning of the fight between superheroes. We ran the gamut of interviews with stars like Chris Evans, directors Anthony & Joe Russo and more. And in our interview with Marvel producer Nate Moore, the question arose of whether or not we might see Marvel's TV heroes like Daredevil or Jessica Jones end up on the big screen.

Even though we've heard that there's not much communication or collaboration between Marvel's film and television divisions, especially with regards to Agents of SHIELD and Inhumans plans, Moore was not opposed to the idea at all. But making something like that happen could prove to be complicated. Find out what he had to say after the jump.

We won't see Daredevil or any of the other future Defenders popping up in Captain America: Civil War, unless a big secret has been kept from everyone, but will that kind of Marvel TV and movie crossover be possible in the future? Nate Moore says:

I think it's possible for sure. It's interesting that the TV timeline and the film timeline moves so differently because they tell stories so quickly because they have 10 to 22 episodes. So sometimes it's just hard for those things to line up perfectly. But we love that idea of ultimately, say a Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Punisher, Agents of SHIELD, maybe there's a way to get 'em back in there as long as it makes sense for our storytelling and doesn't prohibit them from telling a story. We say 'oh, this happened to Daredevil somewhere in the future' and they go 'Well, that's not what the TV show wants us to do.' We don't want that to start to feel like there's friction so we haven't figured out how to do it but we'd love to do it.

More than anything, that seems like a very diplomatic answer. But it makes sense considering the characters already exists in the same universe. They just need an opportunity to interact. It's the kind of crossover you don't want to be forced. It needs to be organic.

But we're betting since Marvel Studios is already putting their own television team together in the form of The Defenders, bringing any of those characters into the big screen universe probably isn't anything that will happening in the near future. However, with something as big as The Avengers: Infinity War on the horizon, you have to wonder how that's going to affect the TV shows.
