VOTD: Mike Relm's 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Remix

We're already familiar with the ins and outs of the Awesome Mix Vol. 1, thanks to our many repeat viewings of Guardians of the Galaxy. Now here's the Awesome REmix Vol. 1 from music producer Mike Relm.

As with Godzilla and Iron Man, Relm took music, dialogue, and footage from Guardians of the Galaxy, chopped it up into little tiny pieces, and laid it back out into something fresh. The clangs and thuds of a fight scene turn into a beat; Rocket Raccoon's "oh yeah" becomes a chorus of sorts. Watch the Mike Relm Guardians of the Galaxy remix after the jump.

Relm himself posted the Guardians of the Galaxy remix on YouTube, with the following note.

I am Groot!!!!

Guardians of the Galaxy. A great movie with a ridiculous soundtrack. As soon as I saw this film, I wanted to get my paws on it for a remix.

And yes, I am fully aware that Rush's Tom Sawyer was not in the film. I just really like that song.

If you watched the Guardians of the Galaxy remix all the way through, you'll have seen the special message from Relm. The directorial debut he's referring to is American Recluse, and it's expected out in the next year or so.
