Japanese 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Spots Capture The Film's Weird Sense Of Fun
Guardians of the Galaxy is the highest-grossing film of 2014 in the US so far, and is doing well overseas. It hasn't even opened in some markets, which is why there are new Japanese Guardians of the Galaxy TV spots. And these spots are great. They focus on Rocket, Groot, and the bunch of losers as a whole. Each spot opens with some normal images of raccoons or trees, before going to the familiar images of our weird heroes messing up jumpsuited aliens in the prison sequence. The energy is great, and the super-enthusiastic Japanese voiceover doesn't hurt at all.Guardians of the Galaxy opens in Japan on September 13, and is, as you must be aware, already playing in most other countries.
