Warner Bros. Dates Nine DC Comics Movies, Here's What They Might Be [Updated]

In addition to dating Batman v Superman for March 2016, Warner Bros. has dated not one, but NINE additional DC Comics movies. They're all untitled for the time being. Now Warner and DC's plan stretches beyond Marvel's. They also planted the flag on two untitled event films. Read more about the DC Comics movie release dates below.

Update: WB has dated two animated films, which are rumored to be further Lego movies to follow the Lego Movie sequel already set for May 2017.Box Office Mojo has the full list. Here it is, complete with the two additional animated films that were dated hours after the other films.

  • Untitled DC Film – August 5, 2016
  • Untitled DC Film – June 23, 2017
  • Untitled DC Film – November 17, 2017

  • Untitled DC Film – April 3, 2020
  • Untitled DC Film – June 19, 2020
  • Untitled WB Event Film – November 20, 2020
  • Wow. I'll tell you one thing, this is almost certainly directly related to Marvel planting their flag on untitled Marvel movies through 2019. You can see the full list of those here. As expected, there isn't one direct conflict between Marvel and DC.

Before getting into the Untitled DC Films though, it's certainly possible the "Untitled WB Event Films" in November are the second two films in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts trilogy. More on that in another article, though.

    Justice League movie

As for the DC films, remember a few months back? Plans were reportedly leaked for DC films though 2018 including Shazam, Sandman, Justice League, Wonder Woman, Flash/Green Lantern, Man of Steel 2 and more. Then, we heard The Batman would be out in 2019. While these dates don't mesh exactly with that original report (which you can read here) the huge amount of titles suggests that plan is close.

That's only seven movies, though. What could the other two be? Maybe Flash and Green Lantern get their own movies? Justice League 2? The Batman 2? Honestly, the possibilities are endless and until we learn more about what happens in the big set up, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, speculation is difficult. But please, go ahead and do that below.
