Vin Diesel Introduces Groot In 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' [Updated With Drax, Gamora, And Star-Lord]

We've seen Bradley Cooper recording a few lines as Rocket Raccon in Guardians of the Galaxy, and heard his voice. Now here's Vin Diesel's turn, as he discusses his character, the tree-man-alien Groot, who acts as "Rocket's personal houseplant/muscle." You won't hear his voice, but there is some new footage to see below.

Update: Dave Bautista and Drax, Zoe Saldana and Gamora, and Chris Pratt and Star-Lord are the next actor/character pairs to get short video spotlights, and you can see their reels, each of which has some good new footage, below.

There's not a lot to go on here, but one thing is clear: Marvel knows that some of the Guardians characters are a little out there, even in a cinematic landscape littered with aliens and X-Men. Giving each character an intro — even a very short one — is a smart idea. Still, given that Vin's only line is "I am Groot," it's weird that we don't hear any instance of it at all in this clip.
