Joss Whedon's 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Is Now Filming

The journey to May 1, 2015 begins February 11, 2014. Earlier today, Joss Whedon began production on Avengers: Age of Ultron in Johannesburg, South Africa. The crew will film on location for two weeks before going to Italy, South Korea and finally UK's Pinewood Studios where the majority of the film will be shot.

According to reports, the opening 10 minutes of the film are set in the major South African city. However, none of the film's stars – Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, etc. – are filming yet. We'll surely learn more as production rolls along, but for now: it's on! [SA News & IoL]
