New Mystery 'Star Wars' Project Coming: 'Star Wars 1313'

In recent months, the best way to keep on top of what's going down at LucasFilm has been their domain registrations. It was there we first learned of Star Wars: Identities, a new traveling museum exhibit, and now the company has registered domains for something called Star Wars 1313. What is Star Wars 1313? Well, we don't know, but one site has a few good ideas and they include Boba Fett. "Boba Fett? Boba Fett? Where?" After the jump.

The domain registrations were first reported over at Fusible. Here's the full rundown, just so you know this is legit:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

That article surmises the number "1313" is a subtle reference to Boba Fett because "CT-1313" was an alias the character once used in the expanded universe. (more on that below). Plus, Joe Johnson (Captain America: The First Avenger) had discussed in the past he'd love to do a Boba Fett movie. Does this mean it's happening? Unfortunately, that idea is likely just pure fanboy speculation.

Fusible later uncovered the fact that when LucasFilm put in for a patent on the term "Star Wars 1313" they registered it for a laundry list of uses, among which include "interactive entertainment software and accompanying instruction manuals," "books containing puzzles and games," "toy action figures" and "entertainment services provided on-line by means of global and local area networks" just to name a few.

So, odds are Star Wars 1313 will be some kind of video game. Will that game have anything to do with Boba Fett? It sounds plausible. Here's how that number reportedly links back to everyone's favorite bounty hunter, from the book Boba Fett: Maze of Deception:

CT-1313 was an alias used by Boba Fett on Aargau when he was confronted by a clone trooper close to his own age.

So what do you think? Is 1313 a good name for a Star Wars video game? Will it feature Boba Fett?
