VOTD: Cast Of 'Take Me Home Tonight' Reenacts '80s Movies

Hey! Remember the '80s? Topher Grace, Anna Faris, Dan Fogler and Teresa Palmer do. They're the cast of the upcoming comedy Take Me Home Tonight, which opens March 4 and is set in 1988. As part of the viral marketing campaign for the film, they've created a music video that features the whole cast, a ton of cameos and references/reenactments of upwards of 50 classic Eighties movies, all in the course of four minutes. While some of the references are super obvious – Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, etc. – it's actually pretty fun to watch and pick out a few of the less obvious ones. Check out the video after the jump.

Thanks to Cinema Blend for the heads up on the video.

I began to go through and note all of the movies that are referenced, then I realized our good friends at Cinema Blend already did that:

Alien, Say Anything, Dirty Dancing, Ghostbusters, Weird Science, Ghost, Sixteen Candles, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, The Karate Kid, E.T., The Empire Strikes Back, When Harry Met Sally, Poltergeist, Top Gun, Splash, Teen Wolf, Back to the Future, Risky Business, Indiana Jones, The Shining, Weekend at Bernie's, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Rambo, Big, Cocktail, Fletch, Flashdance, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Twins, Terminator, Little Shop of Horrors, The Blues Brothers, The Breakfast Club, Fatal Attraction, Can't Buy Me Love, Caddyshack, Norma Rae, Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Are there any others that you notice? Or any that you can't figure out?

Though the film had reportedly been on the shelf for a while, this video in addition to the Red Band trailer that came out got me mighty interested in it. I'm a sucker for cheesy high school-party movies as well as '80s movies so I'm going to turn out for this. But I turn out for just about anything. Are you going to check this film out? And what do you think of the marketing they've done so far?
