Cameos: Brad Pitt In Angelina Jolie's War Film; Another Big Name For 'The Hangover Part II'

Film news is turning into a micro-reporting culture, so here's word on two cameos (or, more properly, possible cameos) that have been shot for notable films. The first report puts Brad Pitt in a brief scene in the film Angelina Jolie wrote and is now directing.

Plus, there's another big cameo report for The Hangover Part II. On the off chance that you haven't seen it reported in ten other places already, we've kept the info out of the headline and after the break, so you can keep it a surprise if you want. (Good luck with that.)

First up is Angelina Jolie's still-untitled Bosnian War romance. The film is shooting now, with Zana Marjanovic in the female lead and Rade Šerbedžija in a key role. A new Hungarian report says that Brad Pitt filmed a scene for the movie this past weekend. The report says he was part of a second-unit shoot on Saturday, and that the scene will feature his character trying to escape a military facility through a curtain of sniper fire. The images snapped of the actor on set all seem to be of him in street clothes, rather than in costume, so there should be some sense of surprise left when the film eventually opens.

And then there's The Hangover Part II, which according to TMZ now boasts a small turn from former President Bill Clinton. Can't wait to hear what conservative commentators do with the news that Mr. Clinton will appear in a film that will presumably feature some shenanigans involving sexual adventures and a substance misuse. (The former President's camp would neither confirm nor deny this report.)

We've had a lot of too-detailed info on the comedy sequel recently, including some photos that only those most unconcerned with spoilers should check out. There's also the fact that Paul Giamatti, Jamie Chung and Liam Neeson are working alongside the core cast of Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha, with Ken Jeong and Mike Tyson returning as well.
