Movie Trailer: Saw 3D
The next film in the Saw series, Saw 3D, is said by producers to be the last. And they seem to be trying to go out with a bang. There's a short teaser trailer for the film, released today at the San Diego Comic Con, that teases some of the film's traps, and makes the film look like it will be one big murderous clockwork machine.
IGN has the trailer, and it's obvious that the clip is meant to be seen in 3D: text rises out of the screen, spikes jut towards the audience and the staging of several shots suggests they're meant to be seen in 3D, as well. And given that the tagline of the film (not the title, sadly) is 'the traps come alive,' I don't know why we'd expect to see anything else.
Survivors from Jigsaw's (Tobin Bell) previous traps gather to seek support of "self-help guru" and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen (Sean Patrick Flanery), but when Dagen's own dark secrets are revealed, a new wave of terror is unleashed. Meanwhile, Mark Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) and Jill Tuck (Betsy Russell) battle over Jigsaw's legacy.
LionsGate releases Saw 3D on October 22nd.
