Entertainment Weekly has out first (or last?) glimpse of the 12-minute Lost epilogue "The New Man in Charge" that will be included on the Series Finale DVD/Blu-ray set. Actor Michael Emerson reveals that "Ben is going around to Dharma installations and closing some down. There are some good surprises.” And yes, ”it does answer questions.'"

The New York Post confirms that Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-head are returning to MTV, with the characters being kept in their "perpetual high-school state" commenting on new and old music videos.

HBO has picked up the new drama series Luck, "a provocative look at horse racing – the owners, gamblers, jockeys and diverse gaming industry players."  The pilot was directed by Michael Mann, scripted by David Milch and stars Dustin Hoffman, Dennis Farina, John Ortiz, Kevin Dunn, Richard Kind, Jason Gedrick, Ritchie Coster, Ian Hart, Tom Payne, Kerry Condon, Gary Stevens, Nick Nolte and Jill Hennessy guest stars. Clifton Collins Jr

Clifton Collins Jr. has joined the cast of NBC's new television series The Event. Collins will play Thomas, "a key player in the show's secret conspiracy who will come into conflict with the president of the United States (played by Blair Underwood)." [Reuters]

Amber Tamblyn

Amber Tamblyn has signed on to appear in the upcoming season of House for a multi-episode story arc. According to Fox, Amber will play "a brilliant and aggressive medical student whom Dr. House (Hugh Laurie) hires as a new team member although she is technically not yet qualified to practice medicine. Tamblyn's character will be confronted with the morally and ethically questionable way that House practices medicine."
