Behind The Scenes Green Lantern Video Shows... Very Little

In what was certainly not intended to be the first widespread glimpse behind the scenes of Green Lantern, an ABC affiliate in Louisiana took cameras to the set of the film and managed to capture...well, not a whole lot.

Thrill to a searing discussion of Louisiana tax incentives! Gasp at a small crowd of cheering extras! Cower before the realization that the production needed to find an airport in which to shoot...and then did! It's all after the break.

Entertainment Tonight would certainly never stand for a set visit like this. There's not even a glimpse of Ryan Reynolds or Peter Sarsgaard, much less an interview with them. Instead, we see the extras in one of the first scenes from the movie — I'm guessing they're onlookers at an air show as test pilot Hal Jordan (Reynolds) lands a plane or performs a mid-air feat. Or is it a scene from Jordan's childhood, as he watches his pilot father in action? The boy we see running forward at one point could be the young Hal Jordan. (We know Jenna Craig plays the young Carol Ferris, but I'm not sure who is playing young Hal.)

The only big details to come out of this are that 80 days out of 100 have been shot, and that six weeks out of that 100 day count will be shot at this airport. And the environment around the airport will be augmented with CGI to create the story's city.

The film also stars Blake Lively (upcoming "The Town," TV's "Gossip Girl") as the spirited Carol Ferris, a test pilot and the heir apparent to her father's aviation company; Peter Sarsgaard ("An Education," "Flightplan") as scientist Dr. Hector Hammond; Mark Strong ("Sherlock Holmes") as Sinestro, Jordan's powerful mentor in the Green Lantern Corps; Jay O. Sanders ("Revolutionary Road") as Carl Ferris, Carol's aircraft designer dad; Temuera Morrison ("Star Wars" Episodes II and III) as Abin Sur, Jordan's alien predecessor; Taika Waititi (TV's "The Flight of the Conchords") as flight navigator Tom Kalmaku, Hal's good friend and confidante; Academy Award® nominee Angela Bassett ("What's Love Got to Do with It") as enigmatic government scientist Amanda Waller; and Academy Award® winner Tim Robbins ("Mystic River") as Hector's influential father, Senator Robert Hammond.
