Cool Stuff: Seven More Awesome Pieces Of Art From Crazy4Cult 3D
As you probably know by now, Gallery 1988 will be holding their third annual pop culture art show Crazy4Cult 3D from July 16th to August 8th in Los Angeles. Over the past couple weeks we've featured a couple of the fantastic art that will be on display at the show, including Jeff Boyes' take on Luc Besson's 1994 film The Professional, Jim Horwat's Back to the Future Tribute, Tom Whalen's Army of Darkness, Dave Perillo's Goonies board game, Keith Noordzy's Al of the Dead and Daniel Rizzolo's Pee-Wee Herman-inspired "I'm a Loner, a Rebal", Tom Whalen's UHF poster and epic art parodying 19 cult film references by Dan Lydersen.
The piece above is by Nathan Stapley, and is titled The Founding Members Of The Society of In Control Time Travelers. See more of Nathan's art on his blog. Prints will be available for $50. Seven more pieces from the art exhibition are available for your viewing pleasure after the jump.
Tim Doyle (who we've featured many times on the site in the past) has created a Crazy4Cult 3D poster which is full of famous cinematic weapons.

You have also seen some of Dave Perillo's art in past editions of Cool Stuff (Random art, Watchmen, The Joker, Ghostbusters). For Crazy4Cult 3D he has created a 70's or 80's style board game based on The Goonies, which we previously featured on the site. He also created an awesome Pee-Wee's Big Adventure board game piece. 16x20 limited edition of 50 signed giclee prints will be available at the show. See more of Dave's art on his blog.
