First Look: Eminem In Judd Apatow's Funny People

Eminem revealed last month that he filmed a cameo in Judd Apatow's Funny People. Now MTV has confirmed the appearance, publishing the first photo of Marshall Mathers in the movie, chatting with Adam Sandler at a Hollywood restaurant.

What role Eminem plays in the film has yet to be revealed, but having read the script leads me to believe that he might be one of comedian/actor George Simmon's many famous friends, of whom George must eventually reveal that he has been diagnosed with a terminal disease. It might also be possible that the Detroit rapper fills in for a scene originally written for Bruce Springsteen, where the famous music artist provides some wisdom.

When asked about working with Mathers, Apatow told MTV "I was scared to pitch jokes to him then I realized his songs are as nasty as anything that has ever been spoken. There is no way to offend him." Head on over to MTV to read a full question and answer interview with Apatow.
