Lost Season 5 Sneak Peeks; Don't Expect To See Jack And Kate On The Big Screen

For years now, there have been rumors and speculation about a possible LOST movie which would cap the end of the series. Series co-creator Damon Lindelof assures fans that while a Lost movie is possible, the sixth season finale will ultimately end the story of the group of characters we have been following. Also, yesterday we teased and speculated about what might happen in the fifth season finale of the series. After the jump we have four sneak peeks at the last remaining episode of the season.

"Twenty years from now they could reboot it. Three years from now they could carry on the franchise, but for us, the show has always been about this group of characters." ... "Their story, ALL the character resolutions will happen" says Lindelof. "The characters that we love and cared about, and invested in, their story is, for all intents and purposes, over."

Linelof promises that the audiences will get a real sense of conclusion with the series and that they have no plans to leave some of "the mysteries of the island or dangling story threads" open for a future series or big screen movie. He says "All we've ever talked about are the six years of the show. It's never been, 'Oh let's leave that for a potential movie.'"
