New Star Trek Logo Released

Paramount Pictures has released a new logo for JJ Abrams' Star Trek, which can be seen above. It is interesting that they've now included the light flare into the logo as the aesthetic was used very prominently in the 20 minutes of footage I screened in November. Personally, I think it looks a little plain, especially compared to the teaser logo, which you can see again after the jump.
