The Dark Knight Back On IMAX In January

Remember when I predicted that Warner Bros would rerelease The Dark Knight in theaters? Well it's happening sooner than you might expect. According to Reuters, the studio planning a January 2009 IMAX rerelease, as an award season reminder. It is "uncertain" if the film will also be redistributed on conventional screens, but I don't see why not. But with the DVD / Blu-ray rumored to hit store shelves one month earlier, just in time for Christmas, will moviegoers be interested in seeing The Dark Knight on the big screen one more time?
