Behind The Scenes Footage From Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull

Earlier today we posted a featurette which showed a couple clips of Steven Spielberg directing on the set of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Someone commented "I would LOVE to have a good hour video of just raw footage of a set behind the scenes". And while I'm sure Lucas will never release such a documentary, I've always been quite fond of behind-the-scene on-the-wall documentaries. I it's because I come from a film background, and always enjoy watching the masters at work on the set. But I think that some of you will also appreciate this footage, even if it's not intended for mainstream audiences.

As a member of the working press I get sent Electronic Press Kits for upcoming film releases (EPK for short). They usually include a bunch of sit down interviews with the cast and crew, the stuff you expect to eventually end up on the special edition DVD. But this is that footage before it's all edited together. I always find myself drawn to the B-roll footage which is included on these releases. Basically the B-Roll is intended for video news outlets to intercut with a news story or movie review, along with the interviews and trailer footage. B-Roll is basically little snippets of behind the scenes footage from the set. It's fascinating, at least to me.

Anyway, I've decide to include 14+ minutes of B-Roll footage from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull for your viewing pleasure. But please be forewarned that they recorded footage from every single day of filming. So some of what you are about to watch might include plot or character spoilers. Continue at your own risk.
